Now if only there were some good icebreakers out there…Two truths and a lie is out because it’s never healthy to start a relationship founded on deception, and I’m going to have to nix trust falls since beautiful friendships rarely blossom out of someone breaking multiple body parts. So let’s just say I introduce myself the old fashion way. My name is Alyssa and I’m the author of The Knee Deep Life. I love to laugh, to write, and to be with the people I love. I’m always up for an adventure, whether it’s big or small. Life is too short to not make the most of every opportunity. Through my adventures I hope to inspire people to fulfill their own biggest wishes and live exciting, full lives.

What do you get when you combine a passion for happiness, writing, and adventure? Well, you get the Knee Deep Life. It doesn’t matter how big or small the experience; there’s something to be said for embracing every second of it. I started this blog because I don’t want to miss out on anything life has to offer. As Rebecca Wells said, “Life is short, but it is wide.” But it’s only wide if you make it wide. So that’s what I am going to make it. Whether it’s traveling to every corner of the globe, or sitting at home, whether I’m making moments or whether they fall on my lap, my life is going to be the widest it can be.
